PetSafe Outdoor Bark Control

The Outdoor Bark Deterrent has an internal microphone that detects barking from up to 50 metres away and triggers an ultrasonic signal that cannot be heard by humans. This is an unpleasant sound to dogs which prompts them to stop barking. The sound will keep going until the barking stops. This should reduce barking in your neighbourhood as dogs will not bark to avoid the unpleasant sound.

Another great feature of the Outdoor Bark Deterrent is that it looks like a bird house, which is a perfect disguise if it is used to stop your neighbour's dogs from barking. It can be hung up, attached to trees, fences or placed freestanding at a maximum recommended height of up to 1.5 metres.

If the unit needs to be above 1.5 metres, it should be angled down toward the dog's location so that the speaker faces toward the dog, there should be no physical barriers such as fences between it and the dog. We do not recommend using the product indoors.
