Avitrol Plus (Praziquantel) Tablets are a convenient and broad spectrum bird wormer which controls thread, caecal, round, gape, gizzard and important tape worms in caged birds.
Avitrol Plus tablets provide a secure method of dosing individual birds in particular pigeons.
For the treatment of Threadworm (Capillaria sp.), Caecal Worm (Heterakis sp.), Roundowrm (Ascaridia sp.), Gape Worm (Syngamus sp.) and Gizzard Worm (Acuaria sp.) and Tapeworm (Raillietina sp.) in ornamental caged brids.
Ingredients/Materials
Levamisole hydrochloride 20mg, Praziquantel 4mg.
Instructions
Administer orally by placing in the throat of the bird, at a rate of 40mg/Kg or 1/2 tablet for birds of 250 to 500g bodyweight, 1 tablet for birds 500 to 750g, 1 1/2 tablets for birds 750g to 1Kg.
Do not feed birds 24 hours before or 3 hours after treatment. Treat all birds in the same loft or cage. Thoroughly clean and disinfect the loft or cage 3 days after treatment.
