This product kills 100% of existing fleas within 12 hours of application and keeps killing them within 20 minutes of contact.
Advantage also stops fleas from biting within 3-5 minutes and is proven to destroy 99% of flea larvae in the pet's surroundings, is waterproof and safe to use on cats, kittens and pregnant and nursing cats over 8 weeks of age. Advantage can also be used on ferrets and rabbits over 10 weeks of age.
